India gives ONGC go-ahead to buy government stake in refiner HPCL: source


NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India has approved explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp's (ONGC) plan to buy its 51.1 percent stake in state-refiner Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL), a government source said on Wednesday, as New Delhi seeks to create a large integrated oil firm.
India has about a dozen state-owned oil and gas companies, with significant overlaps in operations. Alone they do not have the financial power to rival global oil majors in bids for overseas exploration and production assets.
India, the world's third-biggest oil consumer, imports about 80 percent of its crude needs and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to cut dependence on oil imports by 10 percent by 2020.
The proceeds from the HPCL stake sale will also help the government pay for welfare programmes. Asia's third-largest economy aims to raise 725 billion rupees ($11.24 billion) through government stake sales in various companies.
The finance minister Arun Jaitley announced in February the plan to form a giant national oil company by combining other state-owned firms.
"The benefits of synergy would be huge," ONGC Chairman Dinesh K. Sarraf told Reuters.
"Today crude prices are down, so ONGC's profitability is down while gross refining margins and marketing margins of refiners are up so it makes a lot of sense for ONGC to make this acquisition," Sarraf said.

बिहार विधान परिषद में प्रतिपक्ष के नेता सुशील ने कहा कि पूर्व के उदाहरणों के मद्देनजर उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री की कार्रवाई का इंतजार है.





पटना: भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता सुशील कुमार मोदी ने पूर्व में मंत्रियों का इस्तीफा लिए जाने का उदाहरण पेश करते हुए बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार से भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में उपमुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव का इस्तीफा लिए जाने की मांग की है. राजद प्रमुख लालू प्रसाद और उनके परिवार के खिलाफ पिछले डेढ़ महीने से 'बेनामी संपत्ति' को लेकर लगातार आरोप लगा रहे सुशील ने पटना में पत्रकारों को संबोधित करते हुए राजद प्रमुख लालू प्रसाद को उनपर और उनके परिवार पर स्वयं द्वारा लगाए गए आरोप का बिंदुवार जवाब देने की भी चुनौती दी. बिहार में राजग शासनकाल के दौरान नीतीश कुमार के मंत्रिमंडल में उपमुख्यमंत्री रहे सुशील ने नीतीश को चार मंत्रिमंडल सदस्यों जीतन राम मांझी, रामानंद सिंह, अवधेश कुशवाहा और रामाधार सिंह पर लगे भिन्न आपराधिक आरोपों के कारण अलग अलग समय लिए गए इस्तीफे का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने कभी कहा था कि वे किसी भी 'दागी' को मंत्रिमंडल में बर्दाश्त नहीं करेंगे.

तेजस्वी के खिलाफ सीबीआई द्वारा शुक्रवार को की गयी छापेमारी पर नीतीश की चुप्पी पर प्रश्न उठाते हुए सुशील ने भ्रष्टाचार और राजनीतिक मामलों में जनता के समक्ष उदाहरण पेश करने संबंधी उनके बयान की भी याद दिलाते हुए कहा कि सीबीआई द्वारा की गयी छापेमारी ने राज्य के बारे में 'नाकारात्मक छवि' पेश की है और उम्मीद है कि नीतीश कुमार तेजस्वी के खिलाफ कार्वाई करेंगे.. यह उनकी अग्नि परीक्षा है.

बिहार विधान परिषद में प्रतिपक्ष के नेता सुशील ने कहा कि पूर्व के उदाहरणों के मद्देनजर उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री की कार्रवाई का इंतजार है. उन्होंने लालू और उनके परिवार के खिलाफ पिछले डेढ़ महीने के दौरान 'बेनामी संपत्ति' को स्वयं द्वारा लगाए गए आरोपों को लेकर नीतीश और उनकी पार्टी के प्रवक्ताओं की चुप्पी पर प्रश्न उठाते हुए उन्हें भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ उनकी 'बिल्कुल भी बर्दाश्त नहीं करने' की उनकी सरकार की नीति की याद दिलायी. लालू के उनके खिलाफ केंद्र सरकार द्वारा की गयी इन कार्रवाइयों को 'राजनीतिक बदले की नीयत से की गयी कार्वाई की संज्ञा' दिए जाने के बारे में सुशील ने कहा कि इससे काम नहीं चलेगा बल्कि उन्हें आरोप के मेरिट के बारे में जवाब देना चाहिए.

उन्होंने भूखंड के बदले रांची और पुरी स्थित आईआरसीटीसी के दो होटलों का लाइसेंस निर्गत किए जाने के मामले में राजद प्रमुख के अपने छोटे पुत्र और उपमुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव के बचाव में यह कहे जाने कि उस समय वे किशोर थे, दरकिनार करते हुए कहा कि 2014 में डिलाइट कंपनी के निदेशक बनाए जाने तथा उक्त कंपनी का शेयर उन्हें हस्तांतरित किए जाने के समय भी क्या वे किशोर थे.

लालू प्रसाद और उनके परिवार के खिलाफ पिछले डेढ़ महीने से 'बेनामी संपत्ति' को लेकर लगातार आरोप लगाए जाने के मद्देनजर उनको जान के खतरे से जुड़े एक प्रश्न पर सुशील ने कहा कि उन्हें किसी प्रकार की सुरक्षा की आवश्यक्ता नहीं. मैं भगवान भरोसे हूं. आज की तुलना में 1996 में माहौल सौ गुना खराब था जब वे लालू प्रसाद के खिलाफ चारा घोटाला मामले में लड़े थे. सुशील ने शुक्रवार को सीबीआई की छापेमारी को कवर करने गए मीडियाकर्मियों पर लालू के आवास पर 'राजद समर्थकों' द्वारा किए गए हमले की निंदा करते हुए राज्य सरकार से ऐसे तत्वों के खिलाफ कठोर कार्वाई किए जाने की भी मांग की.

Being in the digital marketing field since 2007, I have come in contact with many people in the industry. However there have been a few people who have inspired me with their knowledge, experience and their work in digital marketing.



Digital marketing is the fastest growing industry today. A research by Adobe and CMO council has revealed that 96% of the Indian marketers have confidence in the ability of digital marketing for staying ahead in the competitive race.

In this article I have listed the top digital marketing experts in India along with their profiles. And obviously, I haven’t writing about the people I don’t know, so let me know about other digital marketers that I may have missed.

1. Sorav Jain

sorav jainSorav started his digital career at an age of 17 as an SEO executive and freelance content writer. His digital marketing agency echoVME, formed in 2010, received the prestigious award of ‘The Best Social Media Agency of 2013’ by CMO Asia.
He was acknowledged as the ‘Top 25 Social Media Professionals of India’. With the aim of sharing the digital marketing lessons, he started delivering insightful lectures at NASSCOM, Confederation of Indian Industry, and prestigious institutes like IIM – Kozhikode, LIBA and many more.

2. Prateek Shah

His marketing workshops have been attended by the employees of organizations like SBI, NTPC, CNN-IBN, Hindustan Times and more.
With the aim of forming a platform for the digital marketing professional and enthusiasts, he founded Digital Defynd in October 2015. It is a digital marketing hub for getting all the marketing queries by communicating, contributing and collaborating digital marketing ideas.
His venture Green Smyles conducts social media training, video production services and happiness workshop for the overall growth of the individuals and organization.

3. Pradeep Chopra

Since then, he has shown an exponential growth in the marketing industry. After seeing the dynamic nature of the marketing industry and realizing the limited opportunities for practical training, he co-founded Digital Vidya in 2009.
His aim was to form a digital marketing learning place for nurturing the talent in the field of marketing. He has personally trained over 1,500 professionals and spoken at global conferences like World Blogger, NASSCOM India Leadership Forum.

4. Jitendra Vaswani

In the same year, he also formed his digital marketing agency, DigiExe. Right from digital marketing to personal branding, the agency provides end to end solutions to meet the customer’s requirement.
He is one of the Brand Ambassador of Payoneer in India. With an experience of 4+ years in the SEO and digital marketing, he has a massive knowledge of current and emerging trends in the marketing world. He promotes the online businesses of the companies by applying his strong analytical skills.

5. Kunal Choudhary

kunalWith the academic background of marketing, Kunal Choudhary founded Delhi School of Internet Marketing in 2011. The curriculum was designed keeping in mind the needs of the marketing professionals. He has trained over 1,600+ professionals.
He has delivered over 7,50,000 leads for the Indian clients and earned over $800,000 in commissions till date.
He has worked with clients like Snapdeal, Flipkart, Fashion and You, Myntra, Times deals and many others. After spending over $1,62,000 on Facebook advertising, he generated revenue of $2,85,000.

6. Jainendra Singh

He is a certified Google AdWords trainer. His extensive experience in the strategic planning and business building has helped multi-billion dollar companies across many industries.
He has been engaged in the measuring the ROI of digital media activities, lead generation, content distribution across popular social and bookmarking media channels for so many years.

7. Aditya Gupta

adityaIn 2011, he founded Social Samosa with Ankita Gaba. Their aim was to become a hub for the Indian Social Media Industry by filling all the age old knowledge gaps.
In 2015, it was sold to private investors for an undisclosed amount. According to the ET report, a group of investors bought the company for Rs.2-3 Cr.
Now, Ankit works on his digital interaction agency Igenero. He founded this company in 2009 with the purpose of providing solutions for branding, web based products, and digital strategy on a single platform. He has worked with well renowned companies.

8. Prasant Naidu

prasantThey have an interesting story. Prasant was a business analyst and Vinaya was a freelance designer. They both met for the first time due to one common connection: they both love writing on their personal blogs.
The husband-wife duo started Lighthouse Insights in December 2010 for revolutionizing the Indian social media industry. In January 2012, they both started working religiously on their blog.
In 2011, they got featured at Shareaholic. In 2012, their story was covered in the business section of Asian Age. In 2013, their blog was listed amongst the Top Social Media Blogs by Social Media Examiner.
This alone proves their tremendous growth in the social media arena. Their blog is stuffed with expert interviews, insightful reviews, well-researched studies and lots of social media marketing tips.

9. Himanshu Arora

himanshuHe is the lead trainer at Digital Vidya and has worked with brands like Coca-Cola, SAP, Accenture, Google, Horlicks to name a few. In July 2013, he cofounded Social Panga, an agency providing complete solutions for all the online and offline marketing strategies.

10. Lakshmipathy Bhat

lakWith 25 years of experience in the marketing world, he blends the traditional advertising methods and new digital information in a wonderful manner. Currently, he heads the corporate communications of Robosoft Technologies, a leading mobility solutions partner.
He is passionate about brands, mobile apps strategy and design. He has worked with big brands like P&G, BAT, GSK, Wipro Consumer Care and many others. He has also worked with demanding FMCG and had a successful business growth track in Mumbai, Sri Lanka, Bangalore, and Bangladesh.
