Bihar CM Nitish Kumar launches credit card for students
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday launched his government’s ambitious scheme — student credit card. Under the scheme, students who have passed Class XII will be able to avail credit card and can withdraw up to Rs 4 lakh while pursuing any professional course.
It is an education loan in which the government will pay the interest. Targeting PM Narendra Modi, Nitish said: “I fulfill what I promise, one should not promise what one cannot fulfill. Those who say I am only into prohibition must check their facts… Our election promise of seven resolutions will take final shape by this November”.
